So admit people are on Holiday until the 4th, but if I have my finaid stuff submitted by then how long would you guesstimate that it would take them to put together an estimate for me (accepted SCEA)? I mean they can't have much finaid stuff to do in early Jan? most EA people have theirs and no-one will have been accepted RD yet...

In order to have received a provisional financial aid decision with your SCEA admissions decision, you had to submit the CSS Profile and 2009 tax data by November 1, 2010. Unless you can find something posted to the contrary, I believe you will now have to wait until the regular FA decisions go out in April.

I’m in the same situation as OP, and I don’t think they have a reason to wait until April.
Oh, and they told me to submit the documents ASAP, so I guess they want to be done with it before the RD fin. aid round…

^ exactly. They will have loads of work to do come the 1st of April so they may as well get us done. Ahh wait, now I get your (^^) reasoning. They will do it asap, but only release them on the 1st. Perhaps you are right… Has anyone heard anything from anyone at Yale? I meant to email my interviewer, but didn’t and now they have gone on holiday.

Yeah, they were missing a couple of forms from me, and I submitted them (except for 1 that my parents don’t have, but it’s a long story and we sent them an explanation) and haven’t heard back yet.

I tried calling their office but the man who “helped” me was a little rude… I suspect it’s because they’re so busy, though.

Edit: Called them just now, their offices are closed until January 3rd (according to the recording).
