Final Admissions Stats for Penn Class of 2015

<p>The Daily Pennsylvanian has released what apparently are some of the final admissions statistics for Penn's Class of 2015, as it moves onto campus this week:</p>

<p>Incoming Freshmen: 2,467 (compared to 2,416 for Class of 2014)
Overall Admit Rate: 12.4% (compared to 14.3% for Class of 2014)
Yield Rate: 62.4% (compared to 62.8% for Class of 2014)
Students Admitted Off Waitlist: 51 (compared to 55 for Class of 2014)
Students From Pennsylvania: 403 (compared to 381 for Class of 2014)
Students From New York: 279 (compared to 323 for Class of 2014)
Students From New Jersey: 243 (compared to 261 for Class of 2014)
Students From California: 217 (compared to 217 for Class of 2014)
Students From Florida: 134 (compared to 118 for Class of 2014)</p>

<p>And although not Class of 2015, Entering Transfer Students: 129</p>

<p>I left out one stat:</p>

<p>Minority representation increased by 9%</p>

<p>Applications also went up 18%. </p>
