I know this is quite pointless, but will you guys, more specifically current chicago students, chance me?

Well your GPA unweighted is pretty much the same as mine was UW, we both took a ton of AP's so a lower GPA doesn't hurt you as much.

Really, though, it's your essays that will make the difference. Your app/stats are fine.

Also, did you learn how to make good sandwiches when you worked for Subway? If so, and if you get in, please apply at the Subway in Hutch Commons, because the people there SUCK at making sandwiches. Thanks!

I think you'll be fine. I successfully applied early with fewer activities and about the same or higher GPA as you. My scores were average or below-average for Chicago applicants.

I'm decent at sandwich-making. I don't know how gourmet Hutch tries to be with their sandwiches, but I'll be sure to look into that. I have to say my essays didn't deviate a whole lot from a standard essay, but were very philosophical and a little out-there, as well as written well. Do you guys know when exactly kids will get their decisions?

what kind of karate school lets you earn a brown belt in a year? at my school we were required to spend 30 weeks as white belts learning the basics before we could even test for yellow.
