- Lifeguard training ( around 4-6 hours per week) 9,10,11
-created a math mini class( for credit) 10
-volunteered at the local hospital as an assistant nurse 11,12</p>

<p>are you being serious? you obviously have a very very good chance with your academic resume i don't see why you would think otherwise.</p>

<p>if you dont get in it would be because they labeled you as the stereotypical "diligent" (see michele hernandez's "A is For Admission") asian who just plugs away at her work without displaying true academic passion and lacks diverse interests</p>

<p>I agree with Shackleton55 -- to escape the stereotypical "Asian homework and SAT jockey" label, you would be wise to distinguish yourself through your essays. Make sure they are creative, unique and personal.</p>

<p>I am pretty confident in my essay because I emphasize my multicultural backgroud and my willingless to challenge myself and step out of my comfort zone.</p>
