<p>i just got my SAT scores.. they improved from my last SAT.. from a 1830 to a 1860 :(
i thought i did so well ;( but i had a lot of nightmares today...</p>

<p>i know you have already chanced me a gazillion times.. but one final chance pleaseee.
these are the final things.. i have submitted my application- just one last time wiht the new, and horrible SAT score</p>

<p>my top schools i want to go to are UCSD, UCLA, UCB... UCSD being the highest..
my sat is 1820 (03-10)
NEW SAT: 1860 (11-10) :( <em>grumble</em>
R: 550 (cant ever get it to increase.. i hate CR)
W: 650 (up 30 points)
M: 660 (up 10 points)</p>

<p>CA resident</p>

<p>Subject test: Spanish: 620
Math2: 650
Biology: 600</p>

<p>GPA (10-12) is 4.44
i think that makes my UC GPA about 4.2</p>

<p>I have gotten the letter to submit ELC application. I'm ELC</p>

<p>Extra curricular: ( i have a lot bu but i will mention the ones i put in the application:
*participated in FIRST ROBOTICS
*HAL 2010: Physics club
*INDIAN club: Head Chef
*SDA Writers block, Poetry Branch: President
* Self Learn Sanskrit</p>

<p>AWARDS / HONORS</p>

<p>• AP Scholar with Honor
• SDA Academy Award in Spanish III/IV</p>

<p>Community Service:
Volunteer: 400 hours +/- at the same place, 9th + 10th grade</p>

<p>Work Experience:
*work at hotel as housekeeper for about a year and a half.(to present)
*i also promote the hotel through facebook, twitter, website, etc.
(about 25 hours total/week)</p>

<p>Major- pharmacology.</p>

<p>Essays seem to be strong!</p>

<p>i have done the UCSD scoring from this:
ucsd</a> score
i get 8184 as my total (i have no idea if this is good.. i keep thinking that the cutoff is 8000)</p>

<p>however, when i use another scoring guide where it shows "jobs":
i get 8434 points..</p>

<p>i know my SAT's suck.. i do bad on standardized testing :(</p>

<p>also for the awards point category at UCSD.. i have two awards from my school in Spanish 3 and Spanish 4... since they fall under "language " does that mean i could get points for it.. or does it have to be some big competition or something?
there are about 44 student applying from our school this year.
last year we have 50ish and 26 got accepted- its pretty decent!...</p>

<p>Your chances look really good. UCSD accepts around 86% of ELC students (granted, that was past years).
With everything considered I say you’re in.</p>

<p>I think you’re good as well. ELC with a really good GPA, and your SAT is slightly below average but ELC/GPA should make up for it. Good extracurriculars too.</p>

<p>i was really worried… my goal was 2000+ and the last practice test i took confirmed a high 1900… but i hope it works in my favor… thanks guys!</p>

<p>Just think, your ELC will essentially raise your SAT by 375.</p>

<p>And thanks! UCSD is my dream school. I’m even touring it a second time over winter break.</p>

<p>$king i know you’ve told me a bajillion times that i will get in… but that was when i wrote that my predictions of the SAT… i just had a nightmare about the SAT, woke up and checked and saw that i had failed at the SAT again … and i guess i was just wondering if this will hurt me…</p>

<p>With ELC and that GPA, your chances are strong. I really don’t think any chances threads are going to help you, especially now. Your SAT scores aren’t as great as they could be, but there’s absolutely no sense in worrying about them. If you’ve already submitted… please just leave your fate to the admissions committee and not constantly worry about it. You’re causing yourself unnecessary paranoia.</p>
