I'm applying to all my schools RD
1. UPenn
2. Northwestern
3. Cornell
4. Pittsburgh
5. Purdue

Id say you have a good shot at any, but with schools like Penn and Cornell you never know. I would (if you want to) apply ED to one like mentioned above.

I would say you’ve got a good shot at Purdue and Pittsburgh for sure. UPenn, Cornell and Northwestern are all difficult schools to get into though, so I’m not sure (you are in the running for sure though). As the other two posters have said, you might wanna consider ED to Upenn and Cornell if they’re your top choices.

only problem with ED is the restrictions they have if i get in. Im not hell bent on Penn or Cornell so ill probably stick with RD and hope to get more $ in aid.

Well…
As I say for all Asians, including me, you are a ORM. That means there’s many, many, of us in top colleges, and colleges in general. Your academic and test performance are definitely not something to be scoffed at, but among the group you are competing with, they do not particularly stand out. I wouldn’t bet on the Ivies (but then again, who does?), though you have decent chances at Northwestern, Pittsburg, and Purdue. Just right some good essays, or it’ll come to bite you in the rear. Best of luck.

Might look at Tufts and Holy Cross both in the greater Boston area. Holy Cross has strong reputation in the sciences and new $70 million science building.
