Extra-Curriculars: Just to save time im gonna just concentrate on my leadershp and how i presented it actually on my app:

I was captain of the Speech and Debate team at my school with tons and tons of awards, nationally and locally.
- My Coach wrote a really awesome Recomendation for me.

YMCA Youth In Government Youth GOvernor of South Carolina:
- I presented this in my main common app essay, along with a reccomendation from my teacher/advisor

Boy Scouts of America in progress of Eagle Scout Rank
- presented this in my 150 word essay

Vision 2020 for Science - Building a science facility with a team of students
- presented this in my duke optional research essay

There are several others, but they are just listed, this is actually what I presented.

So I would say my rec's were really good, and I THINK my essays were good I did all the optional stuff everything...

So what do ya'll think??? Will applying ED from south carolina give me that much of a boost to get me into my dream school????

This might not be what you want to hear.

Given that your application is already sent off, you can't be asking, "Should I apply?" In other words, you're no longer asking for advice. You can't improve your application; you can't decide whether to apply early; you can't decide to save yourself the application money and effort.

So what might you hear from us? You might hear that you have a poor chance; this will only depress you. You might hear that you have great chances -- this will make you happy for now. In the end, however, if you're admitted, having been told by CC that "We knew it all along" won't add much to the happiness, but it will set you up for more disappointment if you get rejected.

Only one answer will matter, and that's whatever answer the admissions committee gives you. Just wait for it to come back and enjoy the rest of your life in the meanwhile.

And by all means: make sure to get your other applications ready, too, just in case this one doesn't come back.

You'll be competative, that's all anyone can really say. It wasn't a waste to send it in or anything.

good point bluedevil, im just really nervous bout it i guess

Well, there ain't much you can do now, is there? Just sit back and hope for the best!

Good luck man. I'm confident you'll get in.

you have a solid chance. If AP physics was the toughest course of your life then it's a good thing you didn't have to take IB physics.
