final chances after getting junior year grades (yikes)

<p><em>sigh</em> I did pretty badly this year (not as bad as soph year, but still bad), so what are my chances for claremont? Also, are SAT 2 required?</p>

<p>demographics:
*I am an Asian Indian Male
*From a competitive public high school in Oregon: Beaverton High School, which was also rated the best AP school in Oregon, so yeah, its a smart school. (On top of that, our graduating class is rumored to be the best class of all time, so my rank would be higher had I been in a different year )
*student body at school = 500+</p>

<p>In summary: I currently have a 3.913 UW GPA, and 4.152 W GPA. UW class rank = 31/520 and W = 17/520.</p>

<p>Ummm. Sounds like you did really well, just keep it between A-B and you should be fine, also the weighted GPA is a really good indicator because it takes into account how hard your classes are. The only thing are your low test scores. I would suggest taking the SAT since it is preferred (unofficially) at most coastal schools.</p>

<p>and for extra insurance, bring the ACT up to about a 32 or get a 2100 on ur SAT, you shoudl be good</p>

<p>I think you have a pretty good shot. I agree with crouton though. If you could bring up your ACT at all I think you'll have an even better shot. But I do find it funny that you insisted your grades were bad. When I read the first sentence I was sure you had a 2.0GPA or something to that effect... You have a good shot- happy applying!</p>
