4 Great Teacher Reccomendations
Essays are great as well (Had several teachers read them)

Hooks:
- I moved right smack in the middle of Freshman Year, and my GPA/Rank suffered tremendously because of it, it took me all of frosh year to adapt, and starting sophomore year I was back on track. GPA: (9, 3.6) (10, 4.1) (11, 4.3) HUGE Upward Trend.
- When I was 6 years old I was hit by a SUV in my old town, after 7 surgeries and lots of pain and suffering I surpassed all of it and didn't give up my hopes and dreams, I will write my essay on this.
- First child in my family that is going to college in the United States. First Generation American.

I've Always taken the most challenging courses offered at my school (i.e all honors if not AP)

I know this is a lot, but if you guys can help me out that would be great! ty =)

bump pleasee

I'm not admissions officer or anything, but I think you have a good shot.

I'll be honest: you sound like a back door applicant. By that, I mean you're not necesarily the best academically, but you're well rounded. Your grades (weighted 4) are ok, but not stellar. Your SAT/ACT 2000/29 are once again ok, but not stellar.

HOWEVER, you are in luck. If you have good essays, upward GPA, good recs, (very good EC, pres of 2 clubs) and you've got some ok hooks. (Good interviews help as well, especially on campus ones.)

I think you'll make ed, but if I were you, I would take the December ACT because people usually improve on their ACT score. Take the SAT as well if you want just in case you want regular decision.

Don't worry about not making it, just read the damn ACT/SAT prep books. If you don't make it, be prepared to crush the December tests and then I'm sure you'll get it.

Best of luck.

hey, thanks for your advice, yeah I took the act totally raw without any preparation around here everyone takes the SATs, so far I have taken the SATs twice. My rank for just sophomore and junior year is like 2/367 and 4.2 gpa, it was basically freshman year that leads people to think I am not that strong academically (again, I had a very hard time transferring from a town that was utterly different than me new town). Anymore comments guys?

bumppp plz
