What are my chances at these schools
Just wanted to do one final check with my October SAT scores

You have a great shot at all of those schools...except Harvard. Like you said, it is a big ass reach.

dude
apply for more reaches adn stuff
UR into BU, Brandeis and Northeastern no doubt

ur college list is so random...northeastern, bu..HARVARD?

you're in at northeastern and have a very good shot at BU. Brandeis is a decent chance as well. harvard, well...you'd pretty much have to have some freakishly special talent up your sleeve, otherwise chances are low.

I am very aware that this is a bizarre list (but I am very bizarre person (lol), however I have visted these schools and had interest in them while I was there. As for the fact that my only reach is Harvard (which I am aware that I am better off playing powerball on, I'm just applying because I've wanted to go since I was a kid), I did have two other reaches. However I thought about my reasons for applying to these ultra prestigious and ultra selective and decided that I wouldn't be as happy in those places (I'm not detracting from anyone else who want to go to those top colleges, I just want to do whats best for me). To be honest, I really really pray I get into Brandeis. It really was that school where I knew that it felt perfectally right. But I would be happy at BU or George Washington as well.

your a valedictorian at your school and you have a 2060. That might hurt the way adcom's view the strength of your high school and your gpa. I'm just gonna assume your the type that works very hard and studies a lot. It's also clear that you are passionate in gov't/political science, especially with your EC's. Why not mix in some schools that arent as selective as Harvard but maybe a bit more selective than Northeastern- Unless of course you are different from most CC'ers and you actually like the school itself and would be happy to attend it regardless of whether or not you could actually get into somewhere 1 or 2 spots higher on the USNEWS rankings.
