Final Chances Thread! Please respond!

Schools are listed on the bottom, and if you think I have no safeties - I don't need any as I've already been accepted by two universities. Thanks in advance :)

I won't say anything about my recommendations or essays as anything that I would say about them would simply be biased. However, I'll just add that I'm also submitting a writing portfolio containing 3-5 concise philosophical theses (they're all moral/political philosophy, and they're all 100% original), so hopefully that will help.

The schools that I wanted to be chanced for are (I still have to make my final list, but these are all those that I'm considering):
-University of Michigan - Ann Arbor (applied ER)
-University of Chicago (EA)
-Washington University in St. Louis
-Duke University
-Harvard (I already know, it's a crapshoot)
-Yale (^Same thing)
-Johns Hopkins University
-Boston University (if possible, my chances for getting tuition exchange as well)
-George Washington University (^Same as BU)
-University of Southern California (^^Same as BU)
-McGill University

If you could, can you elaborate on why you didn’t take any AP tests? That’ll help me accurately chance you back.

I took AP Chem and AP world history and got 3’s, so I’m not sending them in. I’m taking 3 AP’s this year, so I obviously couldn’t have taken the AP test for those. I was going to wait till after Calc BC to take the calc AP test, and for AP statistics I just did this program with my state school where I essentially take the high school class and the college class at the same time (had to take additional tests that the college professors said was needed), so I did that instead of taking the AP test. Hopefully that helps.

Oh ok I misunderstood, i thought you were saying you had taken 7 APs already and weren’t reporting any scores.

In that case…

Michigan, BU, GW, USC- in
H and Y- you said it best yourself
JH and WUSTL- match
Duke and UChicago- mid reach

Don’t know enough about McGill…hope this all helps!

I think your definitely in at U of M but you never know because U of M hates white males lol. If you in state its 100%, if your out of state I would say like 90-95%

Harvard and Yale are reaches due to your GPA and just because they are harvard and yale but you never know I mean you have a chance just not a huge one I’d say like 30-40%

I think most of the others are like an 85-100% chance of getting in

Your ec’s are solid and your sats are very good and your GPA is decent.

Good Luck!
