bump!!!!!!

please chance me i need any and every opinion

Your black which helps alot. Your GPA isn't awful but its not a plus, I sympathize with your position and hope they don't look at freshman year. Your scores need to be raised. Also, you should consider listing less clubs and name only a few ones your passionate about and have leadership. Heres my two cents

University of Chicago-Reject
Univeristy of Virginia-Reject
William & Mary-Accept
George Washington-Accept
Virginia Tech-Accept
James Madison University-Accept
George Mason University-Accept
Virginia Commonwealth University-Accept

considering your urm status, you have decent chances at all tier II schools on your list. chicago, virginia and w&m are all reaches. if i were you i would try ed at w&m.

"Your black which helps alot." -mfd3q

Lol mfd3q the way in which you said it made it seem so degrading....

But yeah I agree with mfd3q and the others opinions' your URM status helps you and gives you a solid chance at most of your schools.

yea I might ED William and Mary, but are there any other opinions?

haha no I don't mean that degrading at all. my apologies coolkid if I offended you.

its ok man

except for u of virginia (will be tough), u chicago, and w & m, you're in at all. i think you'll get into virginia and w & m for the record, but those three are reaches.

I'm also considering a double major in some area of engineering, what would my chances be like if I applied as a major in engineering?

Can anyone help me out?

bump!!!!!!

bump!!!!!!

W&M and Chicago look deeper than just at numbers. ED is a good idea. Also visiting and doing an interview to show desire is a plus. They will be the toughest. Even money on UVirginia. In at the rest.
