Hoorah for being totally distracted from schoolwork! It's 11:30 and I still have to read another 90 pages of "One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich", then answer a crapload of questions about the last two acts of "La Casa de Bernarda Alba" for Spanish. The only way I'm getting through it, aside from a ton of coffee, is pretending I'm trudging away through Core reading. Makes it a tiny bit more fun at least (though not so fun to know that tomorrow I may have to wave goodbye to the Core forever).

yes, the alternating rushes are quite annoying...this is insane...my friend finds out from Dartmouth at 3:30 wednesday so we are chronicling the events of the next 48 hours-ish on my camera.

Ooh I read La Casa de Bernalda Alba in Sept.! I can answer your questions for you. Seriously. As long as I don't have to face Hitler's domestic policy.
PS: someone dies in the end! :o (sorry if I just ruined the ending...but it's not like I said who it was.)
& I think I am going to have a vow of silence tomorrow, and stay in the Columbia bubble and not talk to any of my friends, and only talk to teachers when absolutely necessary.

GRAH I CANT BELIEVE ITS ALMOST HERE!

Good luck. This will be me in a 9 days. It is important, but difficult, to keep perspective.

haha that's so cool. good luck to you your friend too. aughhhhhhhh TOMORROW. SOON.

today in class, i got in trouble for not following directions..
i seriously couldnt concentrate on anything cause i was zoning out so often
even in hallways, i often didnt hear people saying hi to me

what the.

Haha, well I did read the play already so nothing's been spoiled. Just never felt like answering all the questions I had to answer until the last minute. The last minute being now. Mala idea.

I probably could have predicted the shenanigans at the end anyway...it's a piece of Spanish literature. All you have to do is sniff the binding to know it's going to be full of sex and misery.

sex and misery? hmm

hahaha this just keeps getting more and more absurd...
i can't believe how nice everybody is. i thought ivy-leaguers were supposed to be snobby little jerks. apparently not. (well, maybe so, seeing as how none of us are yet lol maybe this WHOLE group will get rejected)

ok not cool joke

okay that was DEFINITELY not funny
:)
this is way absurd
but yeah i always thought all Ivy leaguers had their nose in the air. but no. i'm sure at least someone here will get in, and most people here have been really helpful and nice. if i never post here again after tomorrow, it's not because anyone was rude to me.

hmm... eeehhh? I just forcibly sedated myself into a nap... you cant believe how comforting a semi-clear mind is right now @_@

but lets hope ppl here will make glory!

yea i wasnt sure if i was going to come back here, but seeing as how helpful old threads were to me this year i will def. come back and post my stats, maybe a link to my FB profile, then leave.

haha aaaahhh....and how does that little stats format thingy work? where has every1 decided to post their results?!!

well, i meant if i were rejected it would be useless to keep posting on the site of a school that i didn't get into, so i probably wouldn't come back.
but yes, stat post, definitely.

Good luck everyone!!!!

I don't feel like going to school today :(

Me neither! Wow... I cant believe the day is here. Only 9 hours and nine minutes....

8 hours, 35 minutes

Snow Day. What am I going to do with myself?

snow day in New Mexico?

6 hours and 30 min! WOW. I just can't focus on my homeworks....(In China, 11:30 pm)
