Does anyone know when the professor has to submit the final quarter grades? I might want to talk to one of the profs about my grade after my final.

also when is the earliest one can know their fall 2007 grades? during winter break?

It depends on your teacher. I've had some teachers send back the grades within a week of taking the final. Others I waited a bit to see the grade.

Yup, I second what Altema said. It depends entirely on your professors and how quickly they grade the finals and figure out final grades. Sometimes you get them within a few days other time you have to wait until the day or two after the official deadline to submit grades (and even still you get those profs who miss the deadline!)

for my philosophy class i did not get the grade that i think i deserved
is it alright/allowed to talk to the TA (who graded) about it?
would this be completely useless?

when is the official deadline?

on myucla, under grades, has anyone ever had a "final gradebook grade" that was different from the "official final grade"?

^that shouldnt happen unless they made an error and you complained

woo all my grades are in. Best quarter yet for me @ UCLA.

so is it standard for 92.8s to get rounded down to 92s and then A- for north campus classes?

it's not a 93 is it?

but then again.. i'm south campus

I'm in a similar situation as LaxAttack: my "final gradebook grade" is an A, but my "official final grade" is "Not Available." What does that mean?

when's the final deadline?

I dun know the actual deadline. However, I think we'll get all the grades by Friday. Nobody wants to work during X'mas and New Year for sure.

Your professor hasn't officially submitted the grade to school.

that is your final grade basically. ucla just hasn't had a chance to log it yet

yea thats probably ure final grade... i think LaxAttack was wondering if anyone has ever had two different ACTUAL GRADES (llike A and A-)

^the only time that's happened to me when iwas wrongly given a C, and i talked to the prof and she changed it to an A. so it said C, then final grade was A.
