Does anyone know about when final letters arrive? All they told us at CW was "March," but I thought I had read around the 21st.

Also, if you get in, how many of you think you will actually attend Olin? I am pretty sure that I will go if accepted, though I plan to revisit all the schools I get into before making my decision.

They will be sent out in late March. If you are unsure about whether or not to come to Olin, feel free to ask any current student questions about Olin.

i heard a rumor that its the last week of march

Well, that would be late March, wouldn't it? :-D

If they mailed them out the 21rst, now's the time to start getting nervous!

Where are you guys getting these dates from? :-P

I got mine today, I'm in NY. Waitlisted...

Collegeboard says this under "Deadlines" for Olin:
Admission
Regular application deadline: 07-JAN
Priority application deadline: Not reported
College will notify student by: 21-MAR
Student must reply to acceptance by: 01-MAY
Deadline for housing deposit: Not reported

Roar (sorry, I'm not sure what your real name is), did it come by regular mail or UPS?

Nothing here today.

According to Emily's blog ( www.olin.edu/blog/ ), decisions will arrive early next week. FINALLY.

I got rejected (which is why I felt this was inappropriate to put in the "Accepted!" thread)...I was sort of surprised, because I thought my interview went really well, but I'm going to assume they liked me but didn't think I would be happy at Olin. For all the prospies who will read this next year, don't get your heart set on Olin. I feel a little like crying, but my world isn't over because I also have this other school that I really really liked, so I can still be happy (so long as that school gives me enough money to attend!). Get lots of colleges that you could be happy at, and wait for the decisions before you decide for sure what your first choice is! It makes possible rejection letters a bit easier to handle.

I am a little sad I wasn't at least waitlisted, though, so I still had the option, but I still love Olin and will tell every kid interested in engineering that they should apply there.

Vela,
I'm sure you have other great opportunities out there for you. I'm sorry to hear you won't be at Olin. Good luck!
