I wanted to start a thread for anyone who has made a final decision and is definitely attending BU in the fall. I thought we could put (again) what we are majoring in, where we are hoping to live, any activities we might do, that sort of thing. I’ll start…

School/Major: Commmunications - Television/Film
Housing: I’m hoping for the Warren Com floor, since its so close to com, but I also requested west and towers (as I’m sure everyone will)
Activities: I might go out for the dance team, and I am definitely hoping to get involved in the student run theater groups. I also think I’m going to join the Hillel and maybe a political group.
Why I chose BU: It seemed to fit everything I have been looking for. I’m not so into the whole big sports, big-10 kind of school. Its a great size, in a great city, and any activity I could ever want to be involved in, they have. Plus, their television major seems to be exactly what I want to study.

Also, is anyone else going to the Communications day on the 23rd?

Hope some of you decide to join me next year! Later…

School/Major: College of Arts and Sciences - Unsure; taking Core, Biology, and Computer Science Housing: Hoping for the Core floor in Warren B Tower Activities: Some liberal political club, a LAN gaming club (if it exists), and some religion (but not Hillel! I may be able to carpool and continue going where I do). Why I chose BU: The resources of a large school paired with the accessibility of specialized "meta-communities" (each a small college on its own), the proud city of Boston, and faculty brat tuition remission (most of all, sadly).

School/Major: College of Arts and Sciences - not 100% sure..either computer science or electrical/computer engineering or applied math/physics... who knows

Housing: no idea..but warren is looking like the popular hangout =)
Activities: hopefully some fun ones..
Why I chose BU: mainly because i got rejected from my number 1 pick..but besides that, its a great city, good school, and i know some people in the area.
