1) I believe Stever has A/C, I don’t know what other dorms do. But remember this is Pennsylvania, you will only use that A/C for a month or so before it hibernates. You can have an A/C installed if you have medical reasons (asthma I believe is one), but otherwise you aren’t allowed to put one in.

2) Lol, depends when your roommate gets there. Some people don’t even come the first day of orientation. The earlier you arrive and check in, the faster you can claim your territory lol.

3) They say they have bike racks on campus. They also suggest you register your bike with campus security so you get notified if they need to move it or unfortunately someone steals it and they recover it. They also have bicycle lockers apparently, though I just came across this info while looking the bicycle info up for you.

From their website:
“We have bike racks available throughout the campus for bike storage, and Parking & Transportation Services has individual bicycle lockers for use by those who have a bicycle on campus, or for those who would like to commute to campus by bicycle. The lockers are made of steel and totally enclose the bicycle. There is also room for your helmet, riding shoes, etc. 8 lockers are available near Newell Simon Hall to anyone that holds a current bicycle registration (sticker on the bike). If your bike is not registered you may register for free with the Campus Police Department located in 300 S. Craig Street. Payment: Rentals are $35.00/year, plus a $5 key deposit, which will be refunded when you finish using your locker at the end of the rental period upon returning the key. The locker can be renewed for next year. If you would like to rent a locker please stop and speak with an associate from Parking & Transportation Services or call 268-2052.”

DINING

I’m still confused how the Dining plans work. When I was there, I was told to get the one with the least amount of meals, and most amount of flex-dollars. Do those restaurants (ie the taste of India, the exchange, soup and salad, etc.) have ways to use both? Because money will definitely be an issue for me during the year so I want to use my block meals every two weeks.

Dining:

4) Umm, not quite sure what you’re question is here. You can use either a meal or a or flexible dollars for a meal.

The lowest meal plan you can get is the lowest Red(unless you live away from campus) which is 22 meals every 2 weeks (11 a week) with $675 flexible dollars per semester. When you pay for a meal, you tell the cashier what you want to use (block/flexible dollars). odds are you won’t waste any blocks with 11 meals a week unless you choose to eat less than 2 meals a day for 3 days. If you want to eat breakfast, use the flexible dollars, since they deduct a meal no matter if you are eating breakfast/lunch/dinner and its silly to waste a meal on breakfast when you can save it for dinner and get more food.
