Final ED 1 Roster (The End Result of my Boredom)

Yeah I really don’t want to write my essay, so I have decided to compile the stats of everyone applying ED and where they are from.

Tenacious J (Maryland) - 3.8 uw, 4.3 w - 1380 SAT

Farbdogg71 (Washington) - 3.4 uw - 1450 SAT

Esrajay - 4.0 uw - 1400 SAT

Wka1121 (Arkansas) - 3.8 uw - 1580 SAT

Smb223 (New York) - 3.7 uw, 4.0 w - 1410 SAT

Patchatch (New Jersey) - 4.4 w - 1420 SAT

Wogus86 (Georgia) - 1270 SAT

Nolimit461 (New Jersey) - 3.75 uw, 4.0 w - 1330 SAT

Dru (Georgia) - 3.65 uw, 4.05 w - 1340 SAT

Lemme know if I missed you…

How many of them are applying for Scholars?

i am but i dont think anyone in here will get it if they are lol, the average gpa is a 3.9 and avg sat is 1500, and no one in here except you has over a 1500, let alone a 1400, but you never know

You all applied early, regular, or for scholars?

early scholars, does it make a difference? just cuz all the scholar apps were due at the same time ed was

ED is binding, RD isn't, and scholars can be either.

I know about that, but does goin ed with scholars help over rd scholars, thats what i thought cooper is trying to convince

No just only the EDers find out in a couple days

I'm sure everyone here has a good chance at becoming a semi-finalist. Assuming your essays, teachers recommendations, and such are good, I don't see why you wouldn't be a competitive Scholar applicant.

Also, my 1580 is converted from a 35 on the ACT. I decided to take the SAT last month because I figured it wouldn't hurt me and I came up with a 1590: 800v 790m.

Oh, and is anyone here a National Merit Semi-Finalist/Finalist? I missed the cutoff due to the writing section.

yeah i am a nmsf, its sweet, you get so many scholarship offers for doing well on one test plus schools love it, cooper does emory like it? also how come we find out earlier than everyone else just special treatment i assume?

You have a good chance, Wka, but you're gonna need to bring that SAT score up.

lol oh tenacious, just make us look more stupid, cuz u know if he took the SAT's again he could get 1600! wka is such a little hooligan haha, jk man you have the best chance here out of all of us I think

heh, you guys might have better EC's and stuff than me. Test scores are overrated. Plus, a few of you might be National Merit Semi-Finalists, which unfortunately I didn't quite make. It's a long ways off anyways, but you guys all have a good shot at making it.
