final exams

now a days i am taking my exams.
I am doing hard work
My problem is that in exams i do all things.I know how to solve all problems.
But i do a lot of small mistakes and lost 75% marks.
Please tell me how i can solve my problem.
I tried hard but failed.
Now i am takig my exams
Please helpme
thansk

Slow down and double check your work...

Ok i will double checkmy worlk while preparation but what do you mean by Slow down?

Thank you

he means don't rush through it.
if you go slowly you are more careful and less likely to make small stupid mistakes.
take your time and double check everything.

and don't forget to actually LOOK at your calculator screen when doing calculations. I can't tell you how many times I have kicked myself for calculator errors!

lol, yeah. just becuase it gives you an answer doesn't mean it's right. that requires putting the numbers in properly first.

I do that ALL the time!

And keep saying to yourself, "I'm going to be fine" even when you are on a really tough one. Also on my Java test when I came to a confusing question I skipped over it and did all the easy ones and then I went back to the harder ones beacuse my confidence was up and also with multiple choice and true and false sometimes they give away the answer to a question you are stuck on. Don't worry they are just questions to answer.

thanks a lot

when it comes to test taking, it is 70% hard work (studying), 15% confidence, and 5% luck.

... and the other 10% is being able to do basic math. (j/k)

If you're one of those people who rush through your homework problems, I would take time on the homework problems and work out the possible mistakes. I too have a problem when taking quantitative tests. I know the concepts and steps, but I always make small mistakes here and there. I realize that it is best if I spend my time on my homework and realize the possible mistakes that might be associated with the problem types.
