<p>Hi. I'm very worried about my final transcript because it's not as good as it should be. My grades for the 2nd semester aren't very good, but they're not horrible.</p>

1 B (Human Anatomy) (It was an A last semesteR)
3 Cs (Calc, Lit, Physics) (They were Bs last semester)
GPA 2nd semester of Senior year = 3.125
GPA for senior year = 3.375</p>
<p>Final UW GPA = 3.650 (from 3.371)
Final W GPA = 4.117 (from 4.173)</p>
<p>I'm a ChemE (Biochem) major on the Pre-Pharm track. I was just wondering whether or not those grades will get me rescinded. I know that nothing is guarenteed, but I <em>have</em> passed all of my classes. I <em>have</em> gotten As this semester. My GPA dropped only 0.081 points (UW) and 0.056 points (W). I just screwed up in 3-4 classes. </p>

<p>but i HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt your decision will be rescinded. and if it would, they probably would have told you by now. i would contact your admission counselor if you still can and see what they say

<p>I don’t think they’ll rescind the offer. It has to be extreme cases. But be careful, think about why you screwed up in those 3-4 classes, because stuff will happen your Freshman year that you would never imagine - it can be crazy!</p>
<p>You have 8 classes. Half of them are A’s. No D’s. You’re good.</p>

@psydent: Yeah. I know >< I just need to be a lot more focused and diligent. Maybe USC’s atmosphere can help me with that. But yeah, thank you! I’ll keep that in mind and work on being better freshmen year.</p>
<p>USC’s atmosphere can be influence you radically in one direction or the other. Sometimes studying out on the grassy knoll turned into chilling with friends for hours. But when something needs to get done, you really have to isolate yourself, and the library is great for that. When I did my work in the library I got it done, and then I could do fun things when they arose.</p>
<p>With that said, freshmen year is the best year to mess up in (not really bad tho), take it from me lol. Balance is key.</p>

I’m gonna have so much fun in the library ^.^ 24/7 (I was so happy that USC had a 24/7 library facility – whereas my other choice didn’t). Same with the engineering computer lab.</p>
<p>And I will also keep that in mind. To balance myself in college. One of the mistakes that I made in high school was wanting to do everything. So yeah. Balance.</p>

<p>And another tip of advice for studying, don’t bring your computer unless you NEED it. Hahaha, it can be so easy to end up on Facebook while you’re “studying” ;)</p>
