So I went to prefrosh weekend and loved it; I'm enrolling at Caltech.

My question is... does Caltech have a certain GPA drop at which point they rescind admissions offers?

I don't mean to come across as a slacker; I've held my GPA to what it is for a long time now and it's important to me to work hard until the end. At the same time, though, it would be nice to relax a little. I was just wondering how much relaxing is acceptable.

(side-comment: Ben, I'm no longer a lurker ;) )

Hmm, who was from Maryland? I met a few lurkers. Hmmm......

Don't have a letter grade drop in several classes. That is, if your GPA is 4.0, don't let it go below 3.5 for the term (and higher would be better). If you go from all A's to all A-'s, I'm reasonably sure nobody will care. If you go from all A's, to all B's, you'd disappoint us. So keep working hard, but relaxing a little bit to celebrate is okay.

Okay, sounds good. Yeah, it's basically just 1-2 demanding courses that I'd consider taking a B in. We'll see though. Thanks :)

I was staying in Blacker and saw you at Fleming dinner on Friday evening.

Did you manage to hear Ben's particularly high-pitched way of saying "Fight It"?

Youssef, you must have been hearing yourself and deluding yourself into thinking it was me due to your troublesome habit of thinking about me all the time.

Oh right, that must be it.
