Just got my acceptance from UT-austin a couple of days ago. I was just wondering what grades they expect for the last semester of senior year. As in how low can you go before getting rescinded?

I’m curious about this too. My senior year Brit lit teacher is a freaking sadist and I might get my first C T__T

I’m honestly terrified at the possibility of being rescinded. (I’ve been doing terribly in Calculus lately…) Although a friend of mine told me that a senior in our school last year failed their IB English class, but did not get rescinded from UT.

I was wondering if it’s possible to get rescinded from a specific school that you got accepted from (Cockrell, McCombs, COLA, etc.), due to grades dropping in certain courses. For instance, I would imagine that math is relatively important in the business school, so would it be possible for McCombs to rescind me if my Calculus grades (I’m in BC though), are that bad?

I’m curious about how low you can go before getting rescinded from the actual university. >__>

yeahhhh i’d like to know the same

i suppose it wouldn’t really matter though if you’re accepted to cockrell and got like C’s in english and european history? haha

out of state accepted here

Im curious if i even have a chance if im only top 20%… please tell me if i do or do not please

One of my friends failed Calculus and got 3 Cs last year, but he still went to UT. Trust me, it’s super rare that it happens. Just don’t screw up too bad. Only a little.

Are those C’s semester averages for different classes? Or are they 3 C’s for different grading periods for one course?

Ya. I’m in the same boat as a lot of you guys. I’m doing extremely poorly in Ab Calc and am extremely worried right now.

Bumping this thread. I might fail Calc and im in mccombs already…if I received all A’s and 1 F this semester would I get rescinded?

A’s and B’s and a C or two should be fine right?

Guys, as long as you’re not failing, you’ll be fine. I had a friend who made multiple C’s last year, and BHP (/Harvard) didn’t rescind acceptance.
