I'm kind of confused with this. If I'm in a high school in another country, I do not have to submit my transcripts directly to GT but instead to a certifying institution that they recommend. right? what should I send them along with my transcripts? any note saying the translation of my courses? anything?

thanks,

Why don’t u just send the final transcript thesame way you sent the intial transcript (the 1 that was used for ur admission decision). I live in a different country too and I’ve never heard of “certifying agents”. I just had my counsellor send it directly to the address of the undergraduate admissions office at Georgia. Idk 4 sure if this applies to all international students. You may wanna call the school for clearification.

You can only directly send a transcript if your school is accredited by one of the US accrediting agencies listed on their website. Otherwise, you have to send the documents first to a certifying service. That service verifies the information (i.e. that the school listed actually exists), converts your GPA to a standard US GPA, and translates all documents to English.
