As we approach the final hours of acceptance I wonder if I have a chance at hearing positive news. My SAT scores are 670 v, 650 m, 660 w 11 essay, I have a 3.6 uw gpa and am a full IB Diploma candidate. I have very strong ECs and hold a leadership position in all of them. I have very good essays, or so I have heard from an adcom at a top university, and my teacher recs are good as well. My interview went great and I visited last january. I am highly aware that statistically I am below the Northwestern average, but do I have a chance of acceptance or is Northwestern number crazy?

Your numbers aren't even bad. Do you know how many kids at Northwestern are below their average? Half. Relax.

Hah, well put.

Why does it even matter what we say if you find out tomorrow? If we all say no, you'll just be super nervous up until you find out. If we all say yes, you'll either be validated or just be even MORE disappointed if it's a no. There's really no point doing this like 12 hours before you find out, I'm just saying.

^ because waiting makes us hysterical, anxious, irrational, angsty, paranoid, or all of the above! i feel you, jb.

just received my international rejection letter : ) o well...

nerj really? I'm sorry..I haven't received any fedex yet..maybe never!!!Do they send the thin ones?

I was just accepted international. Good luck guys!

oh, no...international rejections have been sent out?I guess Im gonna get one....

the acceptance p

sorry I was saying..the acceptance packages are pretty thin but if you haven t gotten one by now..I'd doubt it will come.( for internationals I mean...)
