typo on the title hearst**

first time taking finals at berkeley and I am a bit nervous, hopefully you guys can help me with a few questions.

how does that work?
is it just in a larger area to prohibit cheating?
will we get desks? (I ask because I saw people taking a chem midterm out in front of the vlsb when the fire alarms got pulled which seemed RIDICULOUS, I would get soooo distracted)

any details I should know about like bringing a hard surface to write on or something?

thanks!

They setup tables on the basketball courts and you’re sitting in plastic folding chairs.

sweet, thanks! I was worried I would be taking a test in the bleachers or something lol.

bleachers are pretty comparable to the crap chairs you’re forced to sit in.

Sorry to bump this, but will we be sharing tables with other students or will we be getting our own desks. I’ve never taken a final in the gym. My final is in 237 HEARST GYM, so I’m unsure what to expect.

shared tables and cheap foldout chairs. hope you arent seated at a crack between two tables and it’ll be OK. its the best! GO BEARS!

lol I can’t tell if you guys are being sarcastic or not. I started laughing out loud hahaha but then I was like wait…maybe they’re serious.

And why does it matter? Planning on cheating? : P

I don’t think their kidding ahaha.

Oh not for cheating my final in the gym is going to be my easy one. I’m just wondering since it just seems weird. Plus I hate taking exams on those arm desk as its not much room to even have an exam and a calculator on the desk.

oh you’ll have plenty of room. you just also have a ****ty desk and a crappy chair at your disposal as well.
