So, the deadline for final reports is June 30th... problem is, my school won't have them until at least the SECOND week of July. I've already given them an addressed and stamped envelope, which they require to send final reports in, but there's nothing I can do to rush them into sending the report earlier.

Anyway, is this something I need to contact Princeton about? Or will they be okay if my report shows up sometime in July, after the deadline? Either way, they're definitely not getting the report by the due date, it's just a matter of how irked they'll be about it...

Don’t freak out yet. Princeton can’t blame you for your school’s policy. Give Princeton a call and notify them of your situation. As long as you handle the situation responsibly, you should be fine. Is there a reason your school takes so long? If it’s true that you can’t do anything to quicken the process, explain that to Princeton and I’m sure they’ll understand.

We don’t graduate this year until the 17th of June; it’s later than usual, but they’ve never been able to send out reports until the first week of July at the earliest, and this year it’s even later.

I feel like Princeton will be fine with it, although I’ll definitely call now just to make sure.

Don’t worry about it. I didn’t get my final report in until late August. The first time I tried my high school didn’t fill out the form and just mailed Princeton my transcript. Princeton called me a little while after the deadline to tell me I hadn’t submitted it yet, so I went back to my high school. However both the counseling receptionist and I didn’t realize that my counselor had retired, so the form didn’t get filled out that time either. By the time I went back for a third time it was mid August. But in the end it was fine. There will be plenty of chances to stress out once you arrive on campus so try and just relax for now.
