<p>Duke says they re-evaluate candidates who receive a C as a final grade. If they saw I had a C on my midyear report already, would that still potentially effect me if I got a C on my final report for that class too?</p>
<p>probably not, as long as this is your only C. if they even re-evaluated you, they would not rescind your acceptance. it is more of a formality. i am sure of it, since ive spoken to many people who received C's for a class senior year. just make sure your other grades are A's and B's</p>
<p>Yup, that's the only C, its also in something completely unrelated to what I want to study - hopefully that mitigates it. :/ I would hate for my admissions to get rescinded.</p>
<p>different countries have different grading systems. for ex. US's C might be a D in some country or a B in another country. Do they only use US's grading system when looking at the final report? or the country's own grading system?</p>
