<p>yeah a ton of people from NC apply to duke, but they also accept a lot, and you've got a lot of good stuff going on. Your ACT is on the low side, but if you write really good essays and your recs come out good, your rank could pull you through.
I think you're on the border between accept and defer, good luck.</p>
