I am sure you are sick of reading my stuff, but here goes one more and final post. I am currently in ILR, looking to switch to a government major. I am pretty aware of all other aspects of the switch, but I would like to know which one would give me better broad job offerings and advantage after graduating. I do not want to go into HR. Other than that I do not know at all what I would like to do...I assume law school or some sort of business, but honestly I couldn't tell you.

bump…

Honestly, no one can predict what the job market is going to look like in a few years. The best person to talk to would be your advisor. Cornell also has offices for these different majors that can inform you about the fields recent grads usually go into. The CC community isn’t the best place to ask such a specific question, especially when the majority of people who post are incoming freshman and Cornell students (except for a few loyal alum).

It doesn’t matter. Pursue what you are most interested in and the opportunities will come.
