<p>So I usually make 80s in math, high 70s in writing, and low 70s in reading. I need to boost the reading. It's just the finishing touch to my SAT score. What should I look into? The Rocket Review?</p>
<p>Recently I'm hearing about Rocket Review, is it REALLY sth one can rely upon?</p>
<p>That's what I'm asking for. Will it help me get my verbal and writing scores closer to 800?</p>
<p>I was just wanting others to help both of us out! I wouldn't buy an unknown book among so many known companies as long as people in CC highly recommend it, so, I'm just expecting others to answer the question too!</p>
<p>hmm... i have RR.... wouldn't say its THAT great... and RR isnt really an unknown book; if you can find it on bookselves at barnes and nobles and stuff... its not unknown. Anyways, I see no reason why you shouldn't give it a shot, IMO any book that recommends the CB's practice exams over its own stuff deserves a looksie.</p>

<p>Well, yeah, sorta! I live in a city where in a library, u will hardly find an SAT study guide! So, I can forget about Barnes and Nobles right? Well, obviously there is internet, but I don't want to buy books and then wait 10 days to get it! So, I always prefer to get a book 4rm library and just check that out. So, it seems like RR might not be really a good choice if I decide to buy a useful SAT study guide!</p>
<p>Umm...amazon delivers in 3-5 days...or pay like 10$ more for 1 day shipping.</p>
<p>Predator, I don't want my to spend MONEY for Study Guides right now! (Since I already have four Study Guides for SAT only! So, buying more is useless and a waste of money, isn't it?)</p>
<p>Which leads me to the question as to why you have 4 other review guides for the SAT...</p>
<p>If those other 4 SAT prep books are like Kaplan, barrons, etc. and stuff, then you should get RR... I would recommend it much more as compared to those other books. Like I said, those company books prepare you for their OWN tests, not necessarily for the CB SAT.</p>

My brother graduated high school last year and to get the best SAT Score he bought PR last October.
In order to do a workshop I had to buy the Blue Book (well, actually, it's like, in the workshop the Blue Book was a lot cheaper than in the bookstores)
My uncle bought the Kaplan (well, this is sth I hardly look at!) which was on sale! (So, it's not sth I really like or use)
And finally, McGraw, well, I didn't buy it! (yeah, I'm sorry, I've 3 SG!) I can get it from my school lib and keep it as long as I want! (so, kinda like u can say I own it!)
Besides all these, my dad whenever went to a big city and saw sth on sale (SAT Cds, Practice Tests, etc), he bought it regardless of its quality!(I don't blame him!) </p>
<p>I guess, that explains why I've four!</p>
<p>And I suggest anyone to own only Blue Book-------that's the only genuine one! To review, Barron's and Princeton are good.</p>

I would not recommend Kaplans though.</p>
<p>Just buy grammatix and using the Blue Book and Official Online SAT course and you'll be fine. . .</p>

I usually get around 500s on practice tests. With alot of practice with grammatix and blue book is it possible to get 600 or maybe even beyond? Thanks</p>

<p>well, u can buy grammatix from acethesat.com. I'm sure however that lazystudentsway and grammatix have got a connection in btw them. anyway, don't you all think that Grammatix is rather expensive? Is it really worth the cost?</p>
