Final transcript dilemma O.o

Hi all, so carolina still hasn't gotten my final transcript yet O.o I signed a sheet at graduation saying that I'm attending UNC Chapel Hill, so my school would know which college to send my transcript to... they never sent it!!! UNC emailed me saying they would cancel my enrollment if they don't receive it by July30, and I've sent it myself already... they still haven't gotten it yet!
Do you guys think they'll cancel my enrollment? Is there anyway I could still go to school there this fall if they do?

You should have drove directly to your HS when you received the letter & asked them to send the transcript in your presence. Go to your building principal, Superintendent, school board president, who ever. If it is indeed the school’s fault (there could be more to this story than you are sharing), this is a serious matter that should have significant consequences for who ever was at fault…if your admission is rescinded.

I don’t think there’s a story here, because my school should’ve sent my transcript to unc when it became available , but they didn’t. I know a friend who is also going to unc from the same high-school whose transcript was also not sent in… idk how much more of a story there is

If you are an in-state student, you should immediately make plans to pick-up the official, sealed transcript in person. Then, you should call UNC admissions and speak with someone about your problem. It would help to explain that you have already made plans to get the transcript to them as quickly as possible. They may accept a fax from the high school until the official one arrives in the mail. I have no idea how they operate in this regard, but I assure you that it can’t hurt to make every effort to get a hold of that document without delay. That way, you can hand it to a UNC official before classes begin. Bottom line… call admissions immediately. Good luck.
