Final Transcript issue

Hey, I was admitted into University of Michigan - Ann Arbor College of Engineering.
I got an acceptance letter and it stated that I will be required to submit my proof of graduation and my final transcript.
Unfortunately I really messed up my mock exams (im in the IB program) and I think that my next report card may result in a drop from a 6 to a 4 for my math grade. If the university sees that there was this sudden drop in my grade could this result in them changing their mind about admitting me?
Im just really worried because they said in the letter that a significant drop in grades or change in classes could result in them changing their minds. If I am doing IB do they judge the final grades based off of teacher given grades or the grades for my end of year IB exams?

Your final transcript will list your final grade for the course. That’s the one that will most likely matter to Michigan.

Congratulations on the acceptance.

I’m almost certain that neither predicted IB scores nor actual IB scores have any impact whatsoever on admitted students’ statuses, for colleges in the United States.

Unless the teacher/school doesn’t give you any grade for the class and only gives you a predicted score; then it would probably be a reason for concern if the teacher gave you something lower at the end of the year.

Just take what I say lightly because I don’t understand your grading system. I don’t know how much lower a 4 is compared to a 6. I just assumed that’s on IB’s 7-point scale. In my school system, we receive a grade for the class on a 100-point scale, and we don’t have predicted scores.

So what you are saying is that if the teacher gives me a grade for the CLASS and its lower than my mid year then it could affect my admission status? Sorry, Im confused.

So basically if my grades (from the midyear) dropped maybe 2 or 3 points from my total score (e.g maybe 6-5 for one class and 6-4 to another) could this mean that UMich will deny me admission?
