<p>I don’t think MIT requires final semester grades; if they did, someone could accept MIT before May 1 and fail all his courses after May 1. You may want to check MyMIT to make sure. They do require mid-year transcripts, although it is well past the deadline.</p>
<p>MIT does require final reports. <p>Keep in mind that the report should be sent <em>after</em> you receive your final grades for the semester, even if that means someone other than your guidance counselor (another guidance counselor or the school principal) should fill it out.</p>
<p>As for accepting MIT before May 1 and failing your courses after May 1, MIT can rescind your admission for that. You can get a few Bs and maybe (maybe) even a C your last semester, but your final grades shouldn’t be dramatically different from what they were when MIT accepted you.</p>

<p>My school does not have final transcripts but instead just usually sends off final IB scores (its a British School). The only problem is that these scores come out on July 5. Is that too late?</p>
