i already got accepted and im in college now. but im doing pretty bad in chemistry. how much leverage do the final transcripts have that you must send in prior to R day have? has anyone ever gotten their offer of admission revoked because of that at the last minute?

I'd guess that nearly any college has been in a position to revoke an offer of admission after receiving final semester grades. I'd bet that West Point has had to do so. If you're getting a C, I'll bet it won't be a problem. If you're actually failing, I'd suggest doing anything possible to pass the course. Your college probably has volunteer tutors who could help. Your professor or TA may have some ideas for you.

Good luck! And just remember, you'll get to take another year of chemistry.

eltororojo,
USMA accepted you because they believe you can be successful in their program. You can bring that grade up. If you have gotten this far you are a very accomplished student. I know you will do what it takes to get that C! Take it one day at a time and study every day. Keep us posted on how you are doing!
