final transcripts

When do we send in our final transcript?

Normally, your high school guidance dept will send the official transcript after the grades become available. Check with them to find out how your school handles the process.

where does it say we must have a final transcript sent to iub? could you provide a link? thanks!

on this page: Admitted Students: Office of Admissions: Indiana University Bloomington

it says this "To maintain your status as an admitted student, you’ll need to successfully complete the high school course work (or final term for transfer students) listed on your application, maintain your solid academic performance, and demonstrate continuing academic integrity."

I doubt they will just take your word for it!

I haven't been able to locate a specific link but, as indybend says, do you really think that any college or university is going to take a student's word for continued good grades? Frankly, your senior transcript is the only thing your high school or prospective college has to hang over your head, in that your final grades do mean something. Otherwise, every senior who had already been admitted could quit trying.

Since I couldn't find a link, I emailed the Admissions Office for a direct answer to the question. I will post it once they respond.

thank you illinois mom...i am curious as to this, as I was not under the impression I was required to send anything! if this were the case, then shouldnt i ahve received a letter or some form of notification requesting that I send in a final transcript? i am eager to see the response. thanks!

Jarad, I'll post their response as soon as I receive it. Normally, however, the high school is responsible for sending the final transcript. That would explain why you didn't receive any instructions on how to submit it.

Enjoy the rest of your senior year and keep those grades up!

thanks again illinois mom!
