Finally a senior! Chances at UCs and more

Hey guys, I remember coming here as a sophomore and everyone told me to "relax and worry about chance threads later."
There are smaller, insigificant extracurriculars and volunteer work I will not be listing on the application.

I will be applying for:
UC Berkeley
UC Los Angeles
UC San Diego
New York University
Cornell University (early possibly)
Boston University
University of Southern California

The "Maybes":
Stanford University
Georgetown University
University of Notre Dame

I would say great chance at the UC's (though Berkeley is kind of shaky) and BU. NYU and USC are a possible chance because they have great business schools and a little more competitive. Cornell (Easier ivy, so better chance than HYP) is a little reach. As for the maybes, ND might be the easiest out of the three (GT and Stanford, hard to predict). Just try to raise up your SAT and SAT IIs and things will be good. Good Luck

Thanks a lot for the input, blayman. Cornell and Berkeley are my top two, and it's great to know that I have a fairly good chance at either.

I will probably apply to Cornell ED, does anyone know how much that helps my chances? :)

Anyone? I don't know if bumping is allowed. :D

The ones you listed you have a great shot at. The maybes ARE maybes, but your ethnicity may give you a boost.

You should try to boost your SAT scores though (especially the subjects)

I would say you have great chances at all UCs except Berkley. Boston and USC are nice choices for you as well. I would say NYU as well, but their business program is tough. You have a chance at Cornell, it's a reach though. For the maybe schools, I would drop Stanford. Apply to Notre Dame or Georgetown. Pick only one. So in total you should have, 5 applications to work on, since UC has only one app. I believe. Try to bring up the SAT score. I would recommend trying the ACT on Sep. 13 as well. Chance me in return!

I'd say you're in at the UCs, except maybe for UCB (but who knows). You're also a good match for NYU, BU, and USC. Cornell is a maybe/reach. What are you majoring in? Pick the "maybe" school that's best suited for you major.
