We've got our first snow day this year. I'm so happy, since we already have a lot of built-in supplementary snow days. Anyone not going to school today?
I had like a test for every single subject today, but it has been deferred.

i'm on vacation... :P

snow day!!
i was worried that all the snow this year was going to end up on the weekend so we'd never get a snow day...but now i got out of a double in-class essay.

Yeeeeeeeees.

I too had a snow day but thus far the roads aren't bad at all. I'm off to go shopping at Tysons on my snow day!

... plus, I'm taking a week off in addition to the week for spring break so these days aren't so good for me. I need to be in school or I'm really going to look like a loser.

... and they're saying more snow on Mon/Tues!

anovice-
I think that we live very close to each other. Do you have about one inch of snow?

You lucky !$@#!$#@ you.
=P

yemaya13... LOL, it's like 12 something(I see you posed at like 11) and we've got like 8 inches!

Well I'm home from school anyway because I feel sick, but here in Philly, the flurries have already started--I'm see them stick to the roof right now... :p

Whoa! I just found out that my area is expecting 8 inches. We only have about two so far. Do you live in northern VA, anovice?

Oh god I hate shoveling the driveway lol.

snow day, here too, prolly off tommorrow as well (refreezing, w00t~)

No, just south of capital hill type DC... LOL, I live in the 'hood. (no offense to anyone)

You think we'll have Friday off? I'm putting my money on a 2hr delay... in that case I'm not going anyway.

Cool! I live in NW. I have been told to expect 8 inches!!! At least a two hour delay (please?)!

i'm betting on a 2 hr delay

even out here in the "boonies" the streets are still pretty good. so i'm hoping desperately for no school, but a 2 hr delay would be just fine too.

We got lots of snow but there's just slush on the roads... I thinking that it might freeze overnight(because they haven't salted or sanded)

haha, lucky people. I never get snow days. Our super intendent doesn't seem to believe in them...or maybe they forgot they existed. Since we don't have buses, school never closes here. haha, one of the people in my math group earlier today: "Hey guys, do you remember that one snow day we had last year? Man...it was nice."

looks like a snow day for NJ... woohoo!

Im on vacation in Utah - does 2 feet of snow count as a snowday?? ;)
