Finally back in the NCAA tournament!

I hope we can win at least one game. Go Blue!

committee was VERY kind to us

Clemson should be the ten seed. They have sucked recently

its actually a really good match-up. and yes they have sucked recently

just dance…it’s gonna be okay…

The drought’s over, time to make it rain in Missouri.

Dilksy I hope so but it’s unlikely if we do get past Clemson look who we got…

…it’s Oklahoma. Then after that it’s 'Cuse. Then Tarheels… not looking good

You’re right, it’s not like we’ve done anything this year to prove we’re capable of beating a top 10 team.

While we’ve got a chance to beat them (imo mostly because we have manny harris), I don’t think it was KIND. Clemson definitely should have gotten a higher seed. They did have this late meltdown, but if you look on the AP ranking, they are #17. And because of this snub, they will be fired up to prove the committee wrong.

This is a team that lost 4 of last 5 and those losses have been close.

KC rivers and Trevor Booker…

One game at a time. I am happy just making the field of 64. It would be great if we could make the field of 32. With Oklahoma as the logical opponent in game two, it is not likely that we can make the Sweet 16. But, there is always a Cinderella story…so one never knows.

Yeah, I’ve looked at this as a one-and-done, but it’s so exciting to finally back.

Don’t get me wrong; I’d LOVE to see us beat Clemson. I’ve loathed them for years, like only a Nebraskan can.

next stop… Oklahoma.

A quality win. Congrats.

“next stop… Oklahoma.”

Yup…and most likely, last stop! hehe! Seriously, our team has definitely lived up to its potential this year. I hope they can find the drive and energy to play hard against Oklahoma. I am sure there is certain Cornhusker who frequents this forum who would love nothing more than to see Michigan beat those pesky Sooners!

Glad it didn’t turn out to be one and done. I’m pretty sure though it’s going to be two and through however.

Good game last night. We were even for the first half and lost by 10 points in the end. This is definitely a good first step toward rebuilding the Basketball program. We played a host of strong teams this year and we kept most of those games close. We beat Duke, UCLA, Illinois, Purdue and Wisconsin. We lost to Connecticut and Oklahoma, but against those two top 5 teams, we kept the game close and even gave them a scare.

Now can somebody please explain how our Hockey team gave up 5 goals to Notre Dame in 1.5 periods? We had the CCHA tournament in the bag! In a way it is good we lost because we had already won 5 straight. Going into the NCAA tournament with 6 straight wins and needing to win an extra 4 straight games would probably have been too much. This loss gives the team additional motivation and hunger. I hope we at least make it to the Frozen Four.

Was a frustrating game. We were up 2-0 in 2nd period and gave up a bad goal. Then with seconds left in the period we got called for a penalty. The scored on power play in 3rd period to tie , and 20 seconds later scored again to take the lead. After that we got sloppy nd looked disorganized. Hopefully just got the bad game out of our system
NCAA seeding will be out at 11:30am eastern time today. If they’d won they’d have #1 seed in Grand Rapids,a couple of hours away. Now looking like still a #1 seed but will be in Bridgeport, Conn. Grand Rapids I’d go to Bridgeport is a little far

Michigan definitely could have won last night’s game. I think we got to the tournament because of Manny Harris, but we also lost this game because of this heavy dependence on Manny Harris. There’s literally no driving/penetration without Manny Harris, and once he was in foul trouble, we were done, we managed the clock well enough to be just even at half, but you can see we needed a stellar second half from Harris, which he didn’t deliver, probably because he was sitting on the bench for too long. And the inside players for Michigan were too small for Blake Griffin, there weren’t many attempts at shot blocking when he’s close to the rim, so he just took his time and powered through defenders who just had their hands up, should have fouled him more than we did in some of those situations.
