Finally Compiled a List! Chance Me?

<p>I have finally compiled a list of colleges that meet all or most of what I am looking for. The unfortunate part however, is that I still have to apply to them! So, I would like your opinion on how likely I am to be accepted, and the steps I need to take by next year (I am currently a sophomore) in order to solidify a more competitive application.</p>

<p>I forgot to mention that I am wanting to major in Chemical Engineering (I do not know if that has an effect on my chances or not, but it is definitely something you might want/need to know!)</p>

<p>NYU and Elon don’t have even have engineering programs?.. I think you need to do some more research before compiling a list.</p>

<p>What do you mean by “finally” compiling a list? You are only a sophomore–not even halfway through high school. And you apply to college the fall of senior year, not junior year. You should come back in a year or so after you’ve done more research and have more high school behind you.</p>

<p>Would Stevens Institute of Technology be a high match or a reach? And Sally thats because I know Junior year is really important and I want to make sure I’m setting myself on the right path for where I want to go. I guess I can see how that might be a little odd as a sophomore though, and I should probably wait a little longer in practicality.</p>
