Finally! Decisions out 3/14 confirmed!

C’mon, black, don’t be so desperate^_^

Just realized 1:59 is the next three digits of pi…gotta love MIT

We must(^o^)/~

I hope they release them at 1:59:26.535897932384626433835795028 on March 14, with the aid of a caesium atomic clock.

P.S. I memorized that value. Tell me if I mistyped.

^
Lol are you serious? I only know pi is 3.14159

With the aid of an atomic clock it still be hard for MIT to send out e-mails at the exact time. When you send an e-mail it takes a fraction of a second or longer than a second to send them.

Yes. Then they should send the emails a few seconds earlier. Then there will be a proportion of people at the exact time, since the random variable is normally distributed.

Therefore, the range should be 5 seconds earlier and later which is 10 seconds. One person is bound to be at the exact time.

Are they sending emails too at the same time?

dont think so… they’ll just open the portal

Haha, I totally connect with the application-song connection~

Wow! I’m kind of stunned seeing it get more and more crowded as the decision day is coming  Last time I visited here, there were just a few active :stuck_out_tongue:
About 9 days to my journey’s final end with rejection :D

They should also adjust the decisions releasing date to each country’s clock. Mine would be a day late…so my “pi” would be 3.15 =(

Lol, that would mean having to release a few decisions every 30 mins!
I don’t think thats gonna happen anytime soon…

Unfortunately, yeah…but that would be neat…like the decisions are put up automatically every time a clock in each country hits pi =P

But then, we wouldn’t have the chance to come on CC at the same time and brag/cry about it ;-)

@12npm12: You won’t. I bet that you either get accepted or waitlisted. You are far above the average international applicants! (Well… In fact, I’m telling these words to myself as well~)

If MIT would simply switch to the Common Application, the application gap relative to its peer institutions would close quite rapidly I would assume.

As a side note, I believe that MIT should release its decisions on June 2 at 10:23.

As an aside, I really, really, really, really, really hate the common application.

Really.

Lol, don’t worry, I’m with you…3 a.m, :P

Harmon, lady of the forest is indeed very nice in DoA

JA GA AGJHBdhjgjhsd sjdkhfkjsd.sdkbfsadhfjkadsH JKSAHDKJS D. I AM GOING CRAZY!!! I NEED MEDICATION! SOMEBODY SEDATE ME!!!
