So how many people have found 'that school' that is really getting them excited about the whole process? I just found mine and, while i had never planned on doing ED, I know cant wait to do what ever I cant to improve my chances at this one school. Anyone else in the same boat? when did you start to feel that way?

I've felt this way since last winter. I've almost finished the common app and only have to polish up my two essays. Sadly, however, my first choice doesnt offer ED:(

the ED acceptance rate for my first choice is 12 points higher than the acceptance rate for reg decision

does that generally mean that they give greater attension to ED applicants or does it just mean that the people are more qualified for that school and are serious about getting in?

While they do take applicants more seriously when they apply ED, it generally means the people that apply ED are more qualified.

My first choice has EA, but that doesn't make my love for it any less.

I need to delay my excitement, though. I'm only a rising junior. :(

i'm like having a tantrum that I have to wait another year before i can go. the place just seems like the best place on earth...

Such a great place, and yet you refuse to name it?
