Finals week in Dec

Does anyone know if the following class has a final exam? Trying to book some airfare for the holiday break and my son’s final (based on weekly schedule) is scheduled for Friday 5-7Pm Dec 15th. Or is there a final paper due on or before that day

I took this class last semester. There is no final exam there is a final paper. When it is due is up to the professor but mine was due the week before finals began.
