How's your week going? I'm pulling an all-nighter tonight and tomorrow. Tomorrow, I have 2 exams. On Wednesday, I have a paper due (~approximately 120 pages of Mills to read before starting a short paper) and another exam. On Saturday, I have another short paper due.

The all-nighter thing is so efficient, I'm not sure what all this studying for a week before is all about. I definitely just crammed an entire semester of Organic Chem in a little less than 24 hours and did decently (knock on wood).

I've been up an extra 4 hours the last two nights, and I'm studying all day today. I really hate finals.

I hate that finals is making everyone act so horrible to each other. Yes, we're all stressed and sleep-deprived, but why does that have to come out in being *****y to our friends? I'm sure I've done it too, but I'm just ready for it to end.

I've been studying a couple hours every day. All nighters don't work that well, nor does staying up late to study. I have my chem exam in 2 hours, and I figured I would review some formulas... but I found that there's no reason to because I already know everything! Studying consistently and frequently helps more than pulling all nighters!

Either way, I think I'm going to ace all my finals.

My last final was December 5th :) I've been off for a week already!

Overall though, my finals went pretty well. I didn't study or stress out much, because my car got broken into the weekend before. They stole my textbooks, wallet, backpack, calculator, etc. Most of my time before finals was spent cancelling credit cards and replacing things, instead of worrying about finals. I got an A on the final in computer science, an A on the term paper for my history class, and a B on my General Chem III final, so I'm pretty happy :)

My finals are all next week mon-thurs. I'm getting started on studying now though, because I've learned from past experience that me pulling all nighters won't work well. The only exam I'm really worrying and stressing about is organic chem, because that can literally make or break me. For bio, all i need is a 70 on the final to get an A, so i'm not even gonna bother studying for that until the day before.

HEY ORGO PEOPLE-HOW ARE YOU STUDYING FOR YOUR FINAL? TIPS/TRICKS PLEASE???

I made flashcards with the reactions and then just concentrated on memorizing the really important mechanisms. And I didn't do this...but definitely try to get a lot of sleep the night before so you don't make stupid mistakes like forgetting a carbon (been there, done that). Good luck!

Just completed my last final this morning...I was really stressed last week and monday

I agree completely with GoldShadow...I'm big into studying consistently, so I don't really have to do TOO much hardcore studying for finals. I've been watching movies every night to just wind down and destress, and I'm really just completely happy...it's a world of difference from last year!

For orgo I've been reviewing mechanisms all along, and have flashcards with main ideas from every chapter. I didn't memorize mechanisms...if you really think about them what's happening makes logical sense so I just go with it. Of course I want to go to graduate school for Organic Chemistry, so i may just be a tiny bit obsessed. Umm...practice tests are crucial too! Plus lots of NMR/IR!

Last paper is due in 5 hours. I have 3 more pages to go + some editing. YAY almost done.

Omg the past 10 days have been so miserable.

I have my sign language final tomorrow at 8. I've never had an 8 a.m. final before (I'm a junior and have always managed to avoid them), so I'm not really sure. I have to make 20 out of 50 points for an A, so I'm not too terribly worried.

All I have left is my voice jury in 2 hours. I had two finals this morning, one from 10-12, and another from 12-2, though I finished both in about an hour each. But I'm tired, because I stayed up till 3 studying for my bib lit final and trying to pack a little more. And then I had a "final" Monday at 8, which consisted of my teacher telling us our grades, and then saying that if we liked them, we could just write "do not grade" on our test and turn it back in. So that means I have an A in that class. And I took my history final last Thursday, and I must have done well, because I have an A in that class, too.

I'm finally done with finals!

I had my freshman orientation final on Saturday. We were given all the questions and all the answers before the exam, so it was just a matter of memorizing everything and putting it on the exam. I studied 5 hours on Sunday, and 8 hours on Monday and Tuesday. I have my politics and spanish finals tomorrow and history on Friday. I'm reviewing today and then tomorrow I am putting everything I have into memorizing terms and reviewing the Cold War for my history test because it's the one I'm stressing about the most.

I'm done and now I'm at home. Can't beat that, hahahahah Good luck everybody who has finals left... I spent like 8 hours spend for my first final and like 4 hours for my other one...

I'm done...

I can't cram...just studied a little extra for the two weeks prior to finals. Went to bed at a decent hour, brough a protein bar to snack on and water to drink, and DIDN'T look at any study material an 1-1.5 hours before the test (just relaxed and listen to music).

This usually works for me, though I do sometimes get an A-.

My finals have been over since Tuesday. Yea! for no more all-nighters, but Eek! for final grades.

Just found out that I aced all my finals! Studying early paid off.

My all-nighters paid off too! Someday procrastination will come back to haunt me.
