<p>Is there a way to find out which classes have finals and which don’t before school starts? I was looking at airfares for winter break and I would love to be able to book now. According to the finals schedule S is supposed to have the last 2 finals on Friday (figures!), but if those classes don’t give finals his last final would be on Wednesday. I would hate for him to have to stay till Friday (or Saturday, depending on flight times) if he is done on Wednesday.</p>
<p>The only way I can think of would be to look at the syllabus from that teacher’s class in a prior semester. I don’t think the current syllabi are available yet, but one from a prior semester could be instructive.</p>
<p>FWIW, I think my D has had a final in every course she’s taken except for Outdoor Action, a common book experience course and CBH (there was a project instead). She even had a written final in Racquetball, although it may not have been given during finals week.</p>
