I'm currently a freshman student at Georgia Southern University double majoring in Economics and Mathematics. I have a 3.45 GPA after my first semester here and I plan to work hard and keep my GPA at least above a 3.0. Spring 2016 I plan to transfer from Georgia Southern University to the University of Georgia to earn my bachelor's degree there.
My question is whether I'm pursuing the right college degree(s). I plan to become a financial analyst, and potentially work for a well known investment firm like The Blackstone Group. Which major or double major combination would help me the most in achieving this goal?

Either finance/math or economics/math would be a great combo for your desired career path.
