Hi guys I was looking to go into finance/accounting. Which schools would you say are the way in terms of value? UT Austin-OOS first year, instate next three. Drexel-full tuition (honors college), UF-about 16k a year (honors college) any opinions would be great as I need to make up my mind ASAP. Thanks

Accounting- Drexel or UF
Finance- UT (if you’re in McCombs)

UT’s instate tuition is pretty low though. I think it’s a great choice if you’re in McCombs.

So Mccombs all around? Sounds good. But are UF and Drexel bad schools to go to in those fields?

bump bummp?

@ac33527 You do realize that UT Austin has the #1 accounting program in the US, right?

Also, for finance, UT is in a whole different league than a school like Drexel.

Yeah, but you might as well go into finance if you get into McCombs.

But if I don’t get into the accounting program at McCombs, then is Drexel or UF a better choice?

What do you mean not get in to the accounting program at Mccombs? Are you referring to the 5 year MPA program? If you’re in Mccombs, then you don’t have to apply to be a certain major. If you’re not in Mccombs yet, and you know you want to study business, be careful about going to UT. Especially from oos.

Yeah that’s what I meant sorry. What do you mean by be careful? UT is my number one school and I’m OOS. I definitely want to study business
