I have posted on the General Admissions board, but no one is replying, so ill just do a cut and paste here:

I have been dreading and hoping for this day and here it is, accepted into Finance at Stern and Accounting at Leventhal. USNews ranks the major at 2 and 5 respectively but I don't think it matters that much at this level. Which one should I go to? Both are big cities, 1 is in cali which is a plus and the other is in NYC which is a plus too.

Which one gets more opportunities? I heard accounting firms always go to USC to talk to students and stuff, what about Stern? Are there too many students so such opportunities are lost?
Which school curves more easily? :D

Also which major is more Math based?
Any input will be helpful.

congrats on both acceptances, they're very impressive...

as for hiring, stern is more well-known for it, with wall st. being just a short walk away, so i would say that accounting firms probably go to stern as much as they do to USC, if not, more...

i know nothing about the curves or the specific majors, but good luck :D

I graduated from Stern 5 years ago. Asking between Stern and Marshall is like asking who is a better dynasty between the Boston Celtics and the Charlotte Bobcats
