Finance major; Low GPA vs internship/work experiences?

hey guys, so im an international student and a finance major and i recently transferred from a private school to a public school. Pace University to Baruch College to be exact. I'm planning to go into media finance or film finance (banks and that wall street stuff don't interest me)

ever since my freshman year, my gpa keeps dropping slowly and slowly from a 3.48 to now a 2.96.

I just checked this morning what my gpa is currently 2.96. i guess i can round it off to a 3.0 in the resume haha..

but it hit me for the first time (i never realized my gpa was dropping all this time) that I actually now have a C+ cumulative.

anyway im in my Junior year and I guess I have 1.5 years left. I've done a lot of work during my time in college.

1) I interned for the CFO of The Weinstein Company
2) Interned at an ok company (accounting/finance)
3) I was a teaching assistant for an anthropology course
4) I contributed an article/essay to a book written my by professor
5) I became an assistant coach for a sport (kind of like a YMCA volunteer thing)
6) Lots of volunteer experience (a nursing home, New York Cares the 5 boroughs, and Amnesty International)

This Spring I have the following opportunities (1 internship + 1 TA position):
1) Intern at Viacom for Business Development & Acquisitions
2) Intern at CBS as finance media analyst
3) Become a T.A. for a media finance class in NYU

Now I'm just wondering, I have 2.97 GPA, and my spring classes have terrible professors according to ratemyprofessors.com

BUT i HAVE to choose them because their classes fit my schedule so I can include internships and work into my daily schedule.

The classes I get Cs on are the classes that whose professors I think are terrible! theyre the type that just reads of powerpoint slides and yet they say, "dont forget to read the book" but so many things are not covered in the slide so I don't know whats relevant and what isnt.

I feel so discouraged and so down right now. I'm so confused on what to do next! should i just focus on school and for get work?? i'm actually pretty broke right now... (my parents cover my tuition, but I cover my own daily expenses)

also i haven't even joined a club or hold a relevant position in a big club in school..

please help

The best opportunities for college grads in business will usually prune out people with below a 3.0 or even a 3.5. You’d be best to get those grades up and keep the the work outside of the classroom. Remember, at this point of your life quality matters a lot more than quantity. If one of those internships gives you more responsibility and something that you can be proud about achieving that will be worth so much more than trying to do three different crappy internships all at once and failing your classes.
