Finance or Industrial Engineering

Straightforward...
Transfer Student (going into sophomore)
All else equal

Study finance at Emory
Pros: top 10, great job prospectives, 4 years to complete, great chance at MBA
Cons: not guaranteed admission into business school (especially as a transfer student: I only have 1 year to prove myself)

or

Study Econ/Math at Emory and Industrial Engineering (Financial and Economic Systems) at Georgia Tech (through dual degree program)
Pros: 3 degrees, GT is #1 in Industrial Engineering, looks interesting to masters programs, finance based, definitely more advanced and more versatile than finance major alone, guaranteed admission
Cons: 5 years, not specifically "finance" degree

FINAL GOAL: high finance job (corporate finance possibly), living (not necessarily working) in Pennsylvania, great MBA program

I like 2, but money money and money?

money isn’t an issue. plenty of financial aid. otherwise I would stay in state

You would definitely learn at GTech.

If you don’t mind the extra year, I’d take the guaranteed route. No GPA minimums?

3.0 minimum. That’s pretty much with any major at most colleges though.
