<p>I applied to Stern RD and have yet to hear anything, but for months I have been assuming on majoring in finance in college. However, I have been hearing from quite a few sources that it seems I would be better prepared for a future in big city finance (i am not fully certain of my career, simply a finance driven job) with international finance instead. Now, if i do take it, do I have to learn a language? I took french in high school, but im not fluent yet, and would rather not learn more. How different are the two majors?</p>
<p>There is no 'international finance' major. There is an international business comajor, but it has to be taken along with another major (presumably finance in your case). Foreign language is actually not a requirement, but two semesters of one can fulfill one of the requirements for the intl business comajor.</p>
